Jan Erik Millon, 49, of
Glen Ridge, N.J., formerly of Montclair, N.J., and Millheim, who also had
a vacation home in Woodward, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at home.
Born Sept. 10, 1950, in
Chicago, he was a son of Ruth Louise Millon of Millheim and the late John
J. Millon.
He was a 1973 graduate of
the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in business. While
there he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity and a member of the
1971-72 University of Delaware national championship football team.
For the past two years,
he was a self-employed insurance consultant. Prior to that, he was a vice
president of insurance sales for the Bollinger Insurance Co. in Short
Hills, N.J.
He was a member of the
Montclair Y.M.C.A.
In addition to his
mother, he is survived by a son, James B. of University Park; a sister,
Michele Millon of Maine; and a brother, Philip Millon of Stirling, N.J.
A memorial service will
be at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. John's United Church of Christ, North Street,
Millheim.
