Janet Rupe '66
Janet Rupe Batik, 76, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away on December 2, 2024, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Louisville, KY, on February 14, 1948, to the late Murray J. and Veneta Mae Rupe. She was an Administrative Assistant at the University of Louisville. Janet was an avid reader and accomplished Dulcimer player. She prided herself on being a member of the Dulcimer Society of Louisville. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Carol Rupe,
and her nephews, Bruce A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Monday, December 9th, 2024, at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, with Phil Webber officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30AM to 12:30 PM, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, on December 9th, 2024, Burial will take place at Rosehill Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum.
