John Barrington Egan, 75, of Grass Valley, California, passed away on December 24, 2023. He was a quiet, private man with a generous heart and a one-of-a-kind sense of humor who worked hard to help those around him. John is survived by his children, Siobhan, Kellie, and Sean. John was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jane Egan. John worked for Farmers Insurance Company for 25 years, dedicating his time and skills to the company. In his free time, he was a prolific musician, always having a guitar, keyboards, and harmonica within reach. Music was a passion that brought him joy throughout his life. Additionally, John was skilled in construction and car repair, and all home repair ventures were completed with his learned expertise.

A ceremony to celebrate John's life will be held at Alexander's Station Steakhouse & Event Center located at 400 Railroad Ave, Nevada City, CA 95959 on February 23, 2024, at 11:30am.
