Walt Peterson '65

Services for Walter Peterson, 65, Mineola are scheduled for 2:15 p.m. Friday in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Mr. Peterson died Feb. 16, 2011, in Tyler.

Walter Emil Peterson was born Sept. 9, 1945, in Houston to the late Walter W. and Carmen Peterson. He had served in the U.S. Army and worked for the railroad.

Survivors include sons, Todd Peterson and wife Sheila, Van, Robert Peterson and wife Courtney, Crandall, and Eric Peterson and wife Lynn, Pensacola, Fla.; and grandchildren, Ty, Zak, Trinity, Sean and Landry.
