Carl R. Crouthamel
BURLINGTON, N.J. - Carl R. Crouthamel of Burlington, formerly of Dover, Del., died of cancer Monday, Nov. 20, 2000.

Mr. Crouthamel was the son of Vera E. Crouthamel, and the late George N. Crouthamel.

He was stationed at Dover Air Force Base from 1965 until 1986, as enlisted and then as an ARTS troop.

In addition to his mother, with whom he lived, he is survived by two daughters, Lisa A. and her husband, Michael Weaver, and Lucie E. and her husband, William Dunn; two grandchildren, Matthew and Harley Dunn, all of Dover; two brothers, Phillip and Carmen Crouthamel and family; and David and Jan Crouthamel and son; and a longtime friend, Rita.

Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Page's Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, where friends may call one hour prior to service.

*Per his brother:  Carl did attend Dreux while our family was stationed at Evreux-Fauville AFB, France in 1961/1962.  He went on to graduate from Burlington High School in our mother’s hometown of Burlington, New Jersey where my family retired to in 1962  He served for many years in the USAF as a control systems specialist on the C-5a (Dover AFB, DE and Yakota AB, Japan) before separating to teach A-10 control systems at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ for the manufacturer. He was married once and divorced and has two daughters, both of whom are now married.
