Curtis B. Williams, 34, of Sarasota, died Friday (August 24,
1984) at home.
Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, he moved to Sarasota in 1972 from
Omaha, Neb. Mr. Williams was the chief respiratory therapist at Sarasota
Memorial Hospital for the past 11 years. A noted expert in his field, he
was a former member of the state board of respiratory therapy and elected by the
National Jaycees as an Outstanding Young Man in America and also active in the
respiratory therapy education program in this area.
He leaves 1 son, Tyler Williams of Sarasota, his mother, Geraldine B. Williams
of Sarasota, 1 sister Alice Marie Younger of Salt Lake, 1 brother, James Causer
of Denver and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be on Wednesday (August 29, 1984) at 7:00pm at
Romaine-Sarasota Funeral Home, 3340 Bee Ridge Rd. with the Dr. Floyd Ewalt
officiating. Donations may be made to the West Coast Blood Bank, Sarasota,
Florida.
