Cyrus Wayne Rucker '64  (aka James Wayne Brunson)

BRUNSON, James Wayne, 55, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001. He was preceded in death by his father, Cyrus Jennings Rucker, grandparents, Bessie Kimmons Frith, Quincey Crescent Frith, Joseph Crawford Brunson, Alma and Thomas Lee Rucker. He is survived by his parents, Jeanette Frith Brunson and James B. Brunson, Montgomery, AL; one son, James Christopher Brunson; one sister, Judith Brunson Jones Killen, AL; one brother, Larry J. Rucker, Montgomery, AL; two grandchildren, Victoria Coggins, James Zarek Brunson, Prattville, AL. Mr. Brunson retired from the United States Army as a E6 served two tours in the Vietnam Conflict also various tours in Europe and the Far East. Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Davis and Rev. Ronny Jones officiating.
