Services for James Samiljan, 52, of Madison will be held at 11 a.m.
tomorrow in the Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St.,
Madison.
Mr. Samiljan, who died Monday in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, was a
certified public accountant at TX Technology of Randolph, where he was the
controller for five years. Earlier, he had been a business teacher at High Point
Regional School, High Point, for 12 years.
He was a member of the Madison Area Y.M.C.A., the Aircraft Owners and
Pilots Association and the Skywagons Flying Club of Morristown.
Mr. Samiljan also was a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants, a certified umpire for New Jersey State Interscholastic
Athletic Association and an ASA official in the Sussex County Adult Leagues.
A graduate of Adelphi University, Long Island, he earned a master's degree
in business from Montclair State University in 1977.
Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Wantage and Newton before moving to Madison
five years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Diane; two sons, Sean Justen and Jason Zachary;
his parents, Retired Lt. Col. James and Muriel Samiljan; three brothers, Arthur,
Steven and Bob; a sister, Jean, and two grandchildren.
