John G. Radice Jr. died unexpectedly at age 66 on Sunday,
June 12, 2011, at his home in Binghamton, N.Y.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on April, 23, 1945, he was a graduate of Plains High
School, Plains Township; the Pennsylvania State University; and the State
University of New York at Binghamton — School of Engineering.
He was an electro-mechanical engineer for Singer-Link, Doron Precision, and
Universal Instruments, all of Binghamton, N.Y., and most recently for Innovation
Associates, Johnson City, N.Y.
John was a very loving and dedicated father and husband.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; son, John D., Chenango Forks, N.Y., and his
fiance, Amy Jenks, Greene, N.Y.; and son, Jason T., Annapolis, Md. He is also
survived by his father and mother-in-law, Dorothy and Natalé Giuli, Plains
Township.
He was predeceased by his father, John G. Sr., and mother, Elizabeth (Rosengrant),
Wilkes-Barre.
He has numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins as well as many loving friends; and
their "Dinner Club" family of more than 37 years.
John was a member of St. Rita's Parish, Chenango Forks, N.Y.; St. Christopher's
Parish, Castle Creek, N.Y.; and St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Binghamton, N.Y.
A kind, gentle, generous, and profoundly humble man with numerous professional
and personal accomplishments, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends at Wm. R. Chase & Son, 737 Chenango St.,
Port Dickenson, N.Y., from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 1031 Chenango St., Binghamton,
N.Y.
