Michael E. Cochrane '67
Michael E. “Mike” Cochrane, 74, of Plymouth, died January 27, 2022 with his beloved wife and children by his side. Mike was born in 1947, and spent his youth residing in many places with his military family. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernice and James Cochrane. Mike also served his country in Germany during the Vietnam Era. He had an entrepreneurial spirit working predominantly for himself as a general contractor. Mike was a car enthusiast and passed his passion on to his son. He also enjoyed photography while exploring nature. Mike could always be found with his dog, Bella, by his side. Mike had a twinkle in his eyes, a quick wit, and a generous spirit. Mike was a voracious reader and eagerly shared his newly discovered ideas. Mike bravely battled cancer during the last decade of his life. Mike is survived by the love of his life, Patricia Blood of Plymouth; son, Michael Cochrane and his fiancé, Jessica Mulreaney of San Diego, CA; daughter, Alison Cochrane of Halifax, MA; brother, Larry Cochrane of Fort Walton Beach, FL; sister, Mary-Ann Stokes and her husband Richard of Fort Walton Beach, FL; grandsons, Weston and Logan Cochrane, along with nieces, family members, and friends. A period of visitation will take place on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the charity of your choice in Michael’s honor. Mike loved a good party so please come with a smile on your face and armed with your favorite Mike story.
