Steven G. Sarvas Dies Day After Graduation
Rome, NY: Steven G. Sarvas, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Milton E. Sarvas of Sleepy Hollow Road, died Wednesday (June 28, 1967) at State
University Hospital, Syracuse, a day after his high school class was
graduated. He had been in the hospital for six days.
He was among the winners of academic honors named at
commencement exercises Tuesday,
The graduate was a nominee to the Air Force Academy and
had been accepted at the State University College in Albany.
A member of the Rome Art Association, his painting,
"Autumn Inspiration" was selected as the December picture of the
month.
The Sarvas family moved to Rome two years ago from California.
Surviving are his parents, two brothers, Ronald and Gerald
Sarvas of Rome, and his paternal grandfather, George Sarvas of Long Beach,
Calif. Services and burial will be in California.

hepatitis, went into a coma and never recovered.
