Tanya Sluga Seeman
Tanya Seeman
November 21, 1947 - October 29, 2005
Waterloo, Nebraska

Tanya Sluga Seemann was born November 21, 1947 in Panama City, Florida to her parents Col. E. Larry Sluga and Irma G. Sluga. She began school at Johnson A.F .B. in Japan and began High School in Dreux, France, graduating from High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. Throughout her childhood Elk Falls, Kansas was where she felt at home. She attended Wichita State University, and graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Iowa Western. She worked as a surgical nurse at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and then taught the Operating Room Technician Course at Iowa Western. At the same time she raised livestock in Underwood, Iowa. Her daughter, Katie Argersinger Page, was born in 1979, and she was able to stay home with her until she was four. In 1983 she became a Realtor and obtained her Brokers license in 1985. She enjoyed a 16 year career as a Realtor. She retired from C.B.S. Home Real Estate in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1998, so she could travel with her husband and spend summers at their lake home, in Okoboji, Iowa with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Col. Emil Lawrence and Irma Grace Ransom Sluga. Tanya is survived by her husband Lee Seemann Jr. of Waterloo, Nebraska, her daughter and son-in-law Katie and Adam Page, son and daughter-in-law . Clint and Lisa Seemann, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Lee and Willa Seemann all of Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral service at Bethany Lutheran Church, Elkhorn, Nebraska on Wednesday at 11 A.M , with visitation at Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn, Nebraska on Tuesday from noon to 8 P.M. with family receiving friends from 6 to 8. Interment to follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn, Nebraska. Memorials may be sent to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Inc., One Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1610, New York, N. Y. 10119-0165, or the Nebraska Humane Society.
