Viola LaRue Facer Winget, 60, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister
and aunt passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at her home in
Las Vegas. LaRue was born on November 16, 1944 in Malad, Idaho, the first child
of Mattie Earl and Evan Facer. LaRue traveled the world with her parents and
family. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She married Charles Sherwood
later divorced, from that marriage she had a beautiful daughter. She married
Larry Phillips later divorced, from that marriage she had a wonderful son. She
married Doug Winget, her soul mate and best friend on June 18, 1977. They worked
together at Fram before moving to Las Vegas. LaRue loved to camp and fish. She
loved to cook, do crafts and crochet. She loved clowns and had collected over
500 of them. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She was a member of
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At the time of her death she
worked for Wal-Mart and had many friends. LaRue is survived by her husband Doug
Winget, Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter Sherrie (Ken) Pribble, Las Vegas,
Nevada; one son Eric Larry Phillips, Las Vegas; two stepsons Robert (Stephanie)
Winget and Douglas Robinett; 13 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter due
in July. She is also survived by two sisters Lorraine (Mike) Bowen, Hyde Park,
UT; Pam (Mark) Randall, Ogden, UT; and two brothers Terry (Kathy) Facer, West
Valley, UT; and Larry (Verna) Facer, Ogden. She was preceded in death by her
parents and one brother Charles Earl Facer. Funeral services will be held on
Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845
Washington Blvd., where family and friends may call that morning from 9:45 to
